It was eerie, seeing Shen Qingqiu like this. Though graceful and elegant, his shizun was a man constantly in motion—tilting his head as he turned the pages of a book, weaving through his disciples as he assessed their sword forms, or simply fluttering his fan when otherwise still. Even in sleep, he was prone to twitching or murmuring or the occasional snore—though he would vehemently deny the latter.
So, to see Shen Qingqiu like this, silent and still, hardly even seeming to breathe…
It felt too reminiscent of a time Luo Binghe would rather forget.
Shen Qingqiu gets hit with a curse that puts him into a sleep that resembles death. Luo Binghe helps, of course—no matter how much it pains him to do so.

Summary
Luo Binghe returns to Qing Jing two years after the disaster at the Immortal Alliance Conference. What greets him is more then he could ever have dreamed of.
He raises a hand and knocks twice before he can lose his nerve. The sound is deafeningly loud against the rushing in his ears.
"What did you forget this time, Ning Yingying?" The voice that calls out to him is fond, if a little exasperated.
Luo Binghe soaks in that voice, in that tone, knowing that as soon as the door swings open and the person on the other side of the door realizes who it is that knocked, that easy familiarity will slip away like sand through his grasping fingers.
Doubt wells up in Luo Binghe's heart.
For a moment he contemplates running again.
Contemplates mounting Zheng Yang and flying far away before he has to face the man on the other side of the door. Before he can decide one way or the other, the door is pulled open.
The man behind it is just as beautiful as he remembered, more beautiful even.
