Summary
"you never give up, don't you little ma-" Jinx faints after her body finally gives up before she is even able to pull the pin of her grenade at the bridge of her lair. She falls into Ekko's arms and is as beat up as ever. Amidst all the chaos the only place Ekko knows will be safe is the firelight hideout. He takes her to his room to heal her up, and as he does they both begin on a journey of forgiveness, reconnection...and love.
This story takes place right after Ekko saves Jinx in S2 E9. It serves as a sort of continuation of what happens between that and the final battle at Pilltover. If you love Jinx/Ekko, wanted to see their relationship grow, and wanted to see them both progressively love each other more and more, then this story is for you!
The story is a slow build, not just some quick horny smut out of nowhere, but who knows maybe there will be time for that in the story.

Her cheeks are bright pink and her bangs stick to her face a little with sweat. She looks back down and frustratedly pulls at one of the blankets again.
"…Jinx?" Is she…?
She grumbles under her breath, very near panting, like she's been at this for hours— maybe she has. "It just doesn't look…right," she complains, swiping her hair out of her face in irritation.
"Are you making…a nest…in my bed?" he asks hesitantly.

Jinx enters into her heat early while staying at Ekko's and he desperately battles for his self control while she tries to convince him to just let go.
