This fic is set immediately after S1, when things have been disastrous for our boys, but fate just wants them to be together.
It was inspired by Edvin's dog, Otis.
It was seeing Otis' huge brown eyes, dark curls and perky look - well, it might have been our Simon right there.
And the idea that Wille and Simon had broken down, but maybe their dogs might find eachother?

Wilhelm and Simon meet as kids at a camp where they become best friends, it takes years to realise how they really feel. Erik tries to protect his brother. Kristina is horrible. The usual friends support our heroes.
Lots of fluff, miscommunication squabbling, family drama. There is a major death in the story, but with a little twist.I think this is my last fic. I have loved writing these AUs, but the itch is finally easing. YR has been key to my existence for four years, I can start to move on.

AU: Wille did not attend Hillerska, August is a year older, and so was not there when Sara was there.
Wille and Sara are university flatmates alone after Felice takes a year abroad.
Simon is currently away working on a cruise ship, but when Wille first sees him he's only wearing a towel......
Simon smiled, “Seems a bit formal when I’m only wearing a towel. I’m sorry, I put all my clothes in the wash, so I literally have nothing else to put on.”
Wille was still fighting to get his voice out, “Of course, you’re welcome to use the, um, facilities. I didn’t know you were so, um.” He stopped. It would be hideously inappropriate to mention the stunning physique in front of him. Quick, think of something else that he could be so…, so gorgeous, no that’s the same thing, so nope, no words. Give up. He swallowed hard. Simon’s eyes sparkled, one corner of his mouth lifted. He knew exactly what was going on - he had no trouble recognising a thirsty man. -

Simon forces himself to keep breathing. It’s only suspicious if he makes it so, he tells himself firmly. “What’s wrong?” he teases, doing his best to keep his tone light. “I’m sure you’ve met plenty of my kind.”
“Nothing,” Wilhelm jumps to defend himself. He picks idly at the skin of his fingers and Simon can’t help but notice the ragged flesh around his nails, almost as if this is a common habit for him. “I’ve just never had the best relationship with reporters - or the press.”
