Summary
Jeongguk peeks out through the small window on the door, his chest swells when Taehyung looks back at him with the same expression but his eyes are calculating for some reason.
The omega looks as far as he can see the elder. A sigh slips past his lips when they take a turn and Taehyung disappears from in front of his eyes.
“He’s the one.” Jeongguk mumbles to himself, heart thumping like crazy in his chest.
Taehyung falls back on the couch beside Namjoon in his office and breathes out the softest whisper, “He’s not the one.”

Summary
“We’re going to get a lot of crap from a long line of people, you know that, right?” Despite being alone in the apartment, not including Promise, Jimin whispered those words, feeling the way his breath fanned over Jeongguk’s face.
Jeongguk knew; Jimin didn’t need to explain what he meant with those words.
“I know, Jimin.”
“I feel like this year is going to be full of surprises.” The omega admitted, his thumb pressing over Jeongguk’s cheek.
At those words, the alpha fully embraced Jimin with his arms, pulling the omega against him. “As long as we’re together, I know we’ll make it through.”

“Let’s end this,” Taehyung says, his face impassive, voice emotionless.
Jeongguk turns around. “What?”
Taehyung takes a deep breath, ignores the painful clench of his heart in his chest. “I said let’s end this. Let’s stop sleeping together. Let’s stop fucking.”
“Why?”
Jeongguk has the fucking audacity to ask that after stomping all over Taehyung’s heart, shattering it in a million pieces.
“Because,” Taehyung starts, his voice cracking, “I want something real and this,” he gestures between Jeongguk and himself, “is far from it.”
Or alternatively, Taehyung catches feelings and Jeongguk doesn't.
