From the prologue:
Thomas can still remember his mother's words the day before she threw him out of her house. "He was a bright young thin' when he was little, but I think he's become more reckless now... 'm worried, Margaret" - "So am I, mother, somethin's up wit' him I think" his sister replied.
On Sunday when they'd gone to church, his mother had made them stay late after mass to ask for advice from father Callahan. Phillip Baxter had sent his young wife home and stayed to confess.
In asking for forgiveness for his sins he raised his voice more than was wise to do in an echoing space like the inside of a church.
Thomas was out of his parent's house and under a bridge before dinner time.
After a full year on the streets with barely enough clothes to survive the cold and never enough food, Mossleigh Manor was quite literally a sight for sore eyes. Little did Thomas know he'd find a better life in a bigger house even further away from home: Downton Abbey.

Summary
A Downton Abbey semi-AU retelling, mainly Thomas centric. The rating will up when needed.
It is a total of 6 works in chronological order. The biggest pieces will be n°4 (covering S2-S3) and n°6 (covering S6 onwards, including some aspects of the film's plot). The plot will thicken and diverge more heavily from canon as WW1 ensues. This verse is long and articulate but plot lines are jotted down, ships already shipped, so at least there's that.
There are issues surrounding the homosexuality spectrum in people, monogamy is hard to maintain and sexual identity may at times be an issue for Thomas. Period-related homophobia will be a thing to watch out for. Be aware.
Also, I'm no historian, so I might end up plying secondary historical happenings to my storytelling purposes. I shall try to keep that related to Thomas's WW1 storyline and the aftermath of it, and I will always warn when I make up historical facts for fictional purposes. If there is no warning you can assume I did research whichever reference I decided to include.

Summary
The first story, Anchor, started with season 13, episode 1, the very first scene where Tony gets Gibbs on the ship where he undergoes surgery by Dr. Cyril Taft to save his life. Goes AU from there.
Anchor was written for NFA's 2016 White Elephant Exchange, inspired by song prompts offered by thecookiemomma.
Ghosts of the Past was worked on intermittently after I posted Anchor. I did NaNoWriMo 2018 and somehow, it finally pulled itself together into a cohesive story.
I'm honored that thecookiemomma also created artwork for the sequel, Ghosts of the Past.
This series is complete.

Summary
Tony has to attend a family funeral out of town and hates the thought of attending alone. When all else fails, Gibbs agrees to go with him. Gibbs has an ulterior motive for wanting to go and Tony's family has the wrong impression about Tony and Gibbs relationship.
