Rationally, he knew Harvey never intended to hurt him. He didn't even intend for Mike to notice, he was sure. But reading Harvey came as easily as breathing for Mike, and thus so did the niggling shame for the things he enjoyed.

Decided to add a Christmas follow-up where Mike makes good on his promise to go with Harvey if he wants to confront his mom.
I might add future holidays, but these are complete one-shots in the same universe.
This is mostly a Harvey character study that centers on him pushing past his obsession with appearances and his habit of pushing people away.
