The morning they received this upgrade will probably go down in history for them. Thankfully, Moon can stop lamenting the fact he's too shy to just ask his co-worker out, Sun did it for him.
And in the best way possible, too. How sweet of him.
This was born out of a feverish moment of heat brain for me, so like- it's so incredibly indulgent. I tried to stay close to their behaviors as possible, but I had to take liberties with Moon seeing as he isn't Virus infected here. Anyway, enjoy this or don't. I don't care lol. I saw a void and I'm going to fill it, god dammit.

That's all you can think about as you pull into the parking lot for a new daycare only building. The face of a Sun themed bot right on the side of the building. He was so similar-

(I'm not all to proud of this, I think I was in a sleep deprived state, but anyway IK some people like it for the angst so I'm leaving it up. Also, this idea is not abandoned, I'm just a heavy procrastinator and I struggle to like my writing. Give this series time, for those who liked it.)

Should a Demon or Person of High Status find that they have too many suitors to handle individually, they may hold a Courting Tournament. They could format the tournament however they wished, but there were 3 laws enforced by heaven themselves and insisted upon by The Golden Cicada;
Murder was Forbidden.
Should Said Demon be holding a Courting Tournament, Courtnapping is to be considered inappropriate and automatically disqualifies the offending Suitor.
And Lastly, The Demon may impart a Champion to play in the Tournament in their stead, should they actually choose none of the suitors, however, Said Champion must actually win in order to ensure the Demon's martial freedom for the span of 350 years, and after said amount of time, The Demon would legally be considered eligible again, and may hold another tournament or participate in other Courting Traditions.
Wukong hated holding Courting Tournaments. And now he had Mk, how can he possibly keep his successor safe while they're surrounded by Monsters?!
Macaque, his beloved mate, was long dead... Wukong misses him.

After a freak training accident during MK’s training under the Monkey King, Wukong seems to have gotten amnesia, setting his brain back 1300 years during the Journey to the West…
“Ugh… my head…” he grumbled, frowning deeply, “What kind of demon…”
“Wukong?” Macaque said, his concern showing clearly on his face. “Hey, you okay, Peaches?” the shadow demon asked, examining Wukong’s face and turning it firmly in his hands, frowning when he saw that his glamours had dropped, the most noticeable were Wukong’s blood red eyes. What was more concerning was the glamours that had disappeared around his face. Those were the most important. The king didn’t usually care when someone saw any of his numerous scars, but the circlet’s mark was something else entirely. It wasn’t just some blemish. It was a branding.
...Sun Wukong no longer had his memories. So that begs the question… how will he get them back and how did MK, his student, somehow have enough power to knock these memories out of him in the first place? It just didn’t make any sense, did it?
Not unless there was another force at play.

Sun Wukong woke up with a jolt, the remnants of cracks in the sky and screaming still echoing in his head. He barely had time to sit up before a voice cut through the air, sharp and unrelenting:
“SUN WUKONG.”
He squinted into the light, groaning. “...Ah, hell.”
Hovering above him, Nezha crossed his arms, face unreadable as his spear gleamed in the sunlight.
“We need to talk.”
