    Set after a slightly AU version of the first film: Instead of trusting Jack, Barbossa has him tied up along with Will before sending his crew off to take on the navy. Elizabeth attempts to rescue them but is outnumbered and ends up unconcious. The crew of the Black Pearl are able to defeat the navy and then break the curse, leaving Barbossa alive with Jack as his prisoner. Now that he's able to feel things again, Barbossa wants to rekindle his relationship with Jack, but Jack is never going to trust the man who mutinied against him. So Barbossa resorts to desperate measures and aquires a potion from Tia Dalma that will make Jack forget the betrayal and accept Barbossa as captain of the Black Pearl.
