Katsuki had always been careful. Cautious, maybe not, but careful. His moves were calculated, his anger directed. He had kept his secret for two years at UA, which is why he was so pissed at himself for getting caught. For getting himself pulled into the f***ing teacher's office.

Katsuki's hearing had been deteriorating for years, but the decline had become more pronounced in recent months. Aizawa gives him an ultimatum: declare his disability and get help, or switch out of the Hero Course. Katsuki sighs and takes another drag. He's f****ng sick of it. He's sick of bouncing aimlessly between gigs, of doing his damn best to communicate, only to get it thrown back at his face. And there's no way out of it. He's stuck in this f****ng defective body until the day he dies. Something moves in the corner of his eye. He freezes in caution, and methodically scans the lot. He doesn't see anyone, at first, then a figure, a man steps into the flickering light. His blood runs cold.

Ever silent, his voice is his swordThe oft uttered refrain of a famed story, the crux of a prophecy. Link hadn't made the connection until now. He was the reincarnation of that hero, the silent knight. He shivered slightly, glancing down at the sword in the stone in front of him. "Link," Zelda whispered from behind him, "if you can take the sword from the stone, then we'll know for sure."
