Summary
As part of a recruitment PR stunt, Sergeant John Richards is to be attached to the SDN to act as the Marine Corps's very own super hero, but when a transport train is attacked by villains, the government cuts corners to get "Devil Dog" into the field faster, and bumps John from Downtown to Torrance.
Attached to a team of fuck ups, degenerates and one very chill rock monster, John must make the best of a FUBAR'ed situation, whilst sadistic forces of darkness lurk in the shadows of Los Angeles, and his own inner demons haunt him from within.

Summary
In early 2183, Scientists on the small European colony of Eden Prime discovered a Prothean artifact of extreme significance. Upon the revelation of it's discovery, the Systems Alliance Treaty Organization sent a small team to secure it, and transport it to the citadel. A routine shakedown. A simple milk run.
They failed.
With the beacon destroyed and Saren Arterius and his Geth allies cutting a swath across the known Galaxy, S.A.T.O. tasks United States Navy Commander John Shepard, first Human Spectre and N7 operative to hunt Saren and his ilk to the ends of the galaxy, and uncover the motives behind these devastating attacks.
In the process, Shepard builds a crack team, uncovers a conspiracy billions of years in the making, and even finds love.
[Takes place in an Alternate Universe, wherein Earth's nations have much more sway, Humanity never discovered Element Zero, and the First Contact War was far more disastrous, ending in a small nuclear exchange, which killed over 2 million people.]

Summary
One Week after Humanity discovered the Quarians, the Turians attacked a science flotilla studying the 314 Relay. The subsequent The First Contact War lasted 3 months, and ended with the destruction of a Turian fleet at the hand of a nuclear warhead, and a populated human city obliterated by a Mass accelerator. The Asari intervened afterwards, and everything was hunky dory.
But what if it wasn't?
What if the discovery of the Quarians happened a month before, instead of a week?
Well I'll tell you. Over 20 years of war of which no side seems to be capable of winning. With the Quarians and later the Krogan clans on the side of Humanity, and the powerful Turian hierarchy pulling the reigns of Council power, what started as a short little war soon devolves into a galactic-scale war of attrition.
On Earth, an unlikely pair grow up in a world united by the war, but separated from it, while on Palaven, a young Turian is molded by it.
Eventually, as both sides become more and more desperate, John Shepard will have to fight tooth and nail to protect his way of life, while also discovering the truth behind his family's legacy. With Tali by his side, anything is possible.

Summary
Smaller fics within the "Auld lang syne" universe, often not worth placing in the main collection.
These fics are often somehow imbued with even more cocaine and Lockheed Pixie Dust than the main series.
And that's saying something.

Summary
A reimagining of the Mass Effect Trilogy with a slight* tinge of American Nationalism, graphic violence, Lockheed Pixie dust, and copious amounts of crack cocaine.
Join Shepard and his merry band of friends as he fights his way through existential nightmares, bureaucrats and degenerates on his way to save the galaxy from nightmares from beyond the void of space, and it's own stupidity at times.
With Tali at his side, anything is possible.
