Summary

Summary
After feeling frustrated with the original game’s 2 out of 3 endings having it where Arnold doesn’t survive, I wanted to write my own ending to SOTM. We already know the Bad, True, and Secret Ending. Now have the Good Ending- for Arnold AND the Mimic/M2, where the two get a chance at a kind of happy conclusion:
As Arnold is escaping from the burning Murray's Costume Manor, he has a moment of realization about him and M2's shared struggles. Instead of being scared of it, he shows empathy and understands that they both have been mistreated by their companies. Will this be a dumb action on his end or will he might just make it out of here?

“Nick, don’t be like that.” Judy continued. Apparently, the half-baked reassurance he tried to give did little, if nothing, to ease the rabbit’s nerves.
“Well, what do you want me to say, huh?”
“I just don’t want you to lie to me and say you’re fine while we’re sitting in a hospital because you probably have a concussion and hopefully nothing worse.”
“Which reminds me to ask again, how did you find out?”
“You’re my partner, and I feel guilty for all you went through, so I asked Hoggbottom if there would be any reason you wouldn’t answer my calls besides being tired.”
“You called me at 5 in the morning after almost two whole days of being on the run.”
“And we separated for a while, so maybe something hurt you during those almost twelve hours I spent with Gary and Pawbert.”
“My paw became a cat toy, and I got hurt.” Nick waved a red paw wrapped in white gauze around, knowing it would annoy her.
“Besides that, Nick,” she groaned, shoving his paw gently to the side.
