Helena felt a red hot surge fly through her body as if she'd been caught red handed as a voyeur. Which she supposed she had been. A stranger watching her own body.

“Good. Somebody will come find you when the parade is over to get your count.” The official gave him a reassuring nod and then disappeared into the crowd, probably to deliver more candles.
Jupiter sat back down in their little circle. The rest of his Unit had sat up and leaned forward when the official arrived. Eight pairs of eyes fixed on the Nightbeacon as Jupiter delicately removed it from its box and then removed the box of matches next to it.
They stared for a second at the intricate detailing on the candle, gazes eventually falling on the name engraved at the base.

“You are my son,” Voldemort declared. “Of course you belong to me. Your every cell, your every fibre, your every heartbeat. You are mine in flesh and blood and soul. You are mine in magic. And you will not deny me.”
