It gave Titan something to focus on, at least. "Iapetus, come back into his shadow." Titan gently encouraged, already pulling the little moon back with his gravity.
"Says the moon with the liquid ocean." Even though he complained, the smaller moon thankfully did as Titan asked, stepping behind him. "You arent going to evaporate, are you?"
Wha- why was he getting worried about Titan? He was fine! Sure, his oceans felt hotter than usual- but it was good, he was good!
Even his livings on his surface felt livelier than usual. Titan could actually feel them move, a feeling he simply... felt too overwhelmed to describe. When he had felt that first step... or swim, or whatever, he'd been so happy, Titan could have cried.
Only to remember that no one in his system knew yet. Not his planet, nor any of the moons, because Titan hadn't told them yet. He hadn't earned to tell them yet.
Or
Due to the materials on his surface... if Titan were put in the Goldilocks zone, he would develop a greenhouse effect as strong as Venus.
An effect that when everyone shares their orbits, his livings do not react well to. At all.

When it collides that fateful spring day, the destruction left in the fragment's wake would cause the death of seventy-five percent of all life on Earth. The most famous victims were non-avian dinosaurs. But there does exist a universe where the dinosaurs were saved and lived.

Sol nodded, and dimly realised tears were dripping down his face. When did that happen? Probably a while ago.
“Hello,” he rasped, and oh, his voice sounded horrible this was not a good first impression. He cleared his throat and sniffled, raising his hands to wipe his eyes and stiffening when the tiny planets flinched away. “Sorry, I’m just…”
He didn’t know how to finish that sentence. Overwhelmed? Relieved? Guilty? Grieving? He sighed heavily. Words were hard, and he was tired.

"...What do you mean?" Neptune knew he shouldn't be feeding into this, knew it with every fiber of his core. But Iris never acted like this, they were always playful like him! Meaning this?... This meant something was wrong? But how could something be wrong with Iris? They weren’t real!
'Well, it's quite common in this situation for a planet to feel a kind of... guilt.'
"...What situation." Iris grinned, stepping closer to Neptune. Neptune's tail hit his legs as he tried taking a shaky step back, though his body betrayed him.
'The accident.'Or...
Neptune starts having hallucinations of his moons. His old ones. And he doesn't know how to tell past from present anymore.

Jupiter's core dropped. Of course... his moons would notice. They were young sure, but they weren't stupid. Before the accident, he never thought he could wish for them to stay unconscious for a bit more.
"Hey, I'm the biggest planet, I can handle it." Jupiter shook his head and smiled to Ganymede. "I'm strong enough to deal with issues on my own."
It took far too long to understand that his reasoning of 'I am the biggest planet, I don't need help' is pretty terrible to say to someone who is also the biggest of his kind.

"I'm not talking to you!" The smaller yelled while turning, clenching his hands into fists angrily. Earth had that stupid, shit-eating grin on his face that Venus hated- and so did Luna, clearly, who was shaking his head with disappointment.
"Wha- what did I do?" The living planet asked, tilting his head confusedly. Behind him, Venus felt even Mercury glare daggers at him- which. Wow. The pipsqueak would never voice his thoughts out loud, though.
That's what Venus was for.
Angry, loud, horrible Venus.
"Well, I didn't drag half the solar system out, now did I?" Venus huffed, ignoring the guilt that comment caused to bubble to his molten surface.
The evil surface. The surface the livings called literal hell.
That hadn't cooled down even the slightest bit. Not even in Earth's orbit.
Or
Despite now orbiting in the Goldilocks zone, Venus' surface did not change.
...His neighbours' certainly did, though. Perhaps not in the best way.

"Uhm..." Oh stars, did he forget something? He didn't have the greatest memory but... okay let's see. It's not her birthday, not their anniversary, not the friendship anniversary Makemake had declared they have- "...Erhm... is today important?" The dwarf planet ended up asking sheepishly, not wanting to to keep guessing.

The ice giants looked pathetic.
That was X's only thought as he stared at the heap of miserable looking blue planets, even if he himself was in no place to judge. He didn't exactly look any better, with his darkened eyes or shaky limbs.
At least he hadn't turned ghostly pale, he thought, unnamable feelings bubbling to the surface the longer he looked over Neptune's form. Seriously, Neptune was almost as dark as him- how did he become as pale as Uranus? He knew what orbital sickness was, but it had to be more than just-
"Take a picture, mate." Uranus grumbled, unhappily so- which, yeah, fair enough X did abandon him the last time they spoke. "It will last longer."
