Guess that happened when you were basically inkling royalty. You know you can throw your weight around without any consequences.
Marina had always been the opposite. She might have been uncannily intelligent, sure, but she was always sure to make herself small.
“They’re like—” Insufferably romantic? Mind-numbingly exhausting? Annoying teenagers in their first relationship except they’re well into their twenties? “They’re the perfect couple.”

Acht is getting increasingly annoyed by Pearl and Marina flirting in the elevator. They think they have an ally in Eight, but actually… she’s just jealous.

Summary
You might think that my biggest problem right now was the fact that my left arm was barely hanging on to the rest of me at the elbow, but that was in fact only my second biggest problem. My biggest problem was that letting ART fix it would require taking off my shirt, and taking off my shirt right now would make things very awkward, very fast, due to the number of incriminating scars it was currently hiding.

This is not the first time Leonide has been guided to the Argument Lounge. Since her first arrival I have had drones marked on her position at all times, though this will be the first time we are in the same room together.
Oh. Perhaps this is why Perihelion and SecUnit M.1.0 told me Leonide’s destination. With a non-functioning governor module, I could leave the room without telling anyone why or where I am going.
