“Yes,” Bruce grunted, and it was only because Dick had known Bruce for so many years that he could tell just how pained the other man was. “He has agreed to work with us to be a double agent under one condition,” Uh oh.
“I’m guessing that condition involves me, typical,” Dick sighed.
“Yes,” Bruce said and then there was a moment of silence. “He wants you to sit in his lap for the briefing meeting,” Dick blinked in surprise. That was better than having to be his apprentice again for a week or something like that.
