    Summary

A plane crash was a statistical anomaly, surviving one even more so. The odds were microscopic, laughable in their improbability. And yet Dr. Anicia Morrone had survived, defying mathematics and mortality alike, only to wake in a world infinitely crueler than the one she had left behind.

This was not Alice in Wonderland, oh no, this was Anicia in the depths of Hades’ own imagining... though even that comparison felt generous. Hades, at least, had rules. Westeros had ambition.

She had intended to live quietly, to endure and adapt, to carve out a small and careful existence in a world that was not her own. But fate, it seemed, had little interest in her caution. Other plans were already in motion, threads that would entangle not only her own precarious survival, but the future of the realm itself.

And, most dangerously of all, a certain prince — heir to the Iron Throne…. none other than Prince Baelor Breakspear.

    Summary

Daeron was of the opinion that he needn’t have come with his uncle Rhaegel as they traveled to the Eyrie, but his father insisted that Daeron go, hoping the honor and chivalry so prevalent in the Vale will change his drunken, whoring ways.

What he gets is an attack on their entourage, being taken by one of the mountain clans, and sent off as an offering to the fire-witch’s pet.

Except the pet is no monster, the witch is a girl with startlingly familiar eyes, and Daeron finds himself faced with a dragon long thought to be dead.

(In which a modern girl is reborn as a descendant of Nettles.)

    Summary

One thing that always bugged me about Game of Thrones was that Jon felt like his only option was to join the Night's Watch at fifteen. Like I know Ned, had his reasons for not fostering or legitimizing him, but its kind of sad Jon felt like his only option was to join a glorified Penal Colony and sign his life away.

So what if Jon decided he was not going to swear to be the Shield that guards the Realms of men, but swear beneath the Skull of Bittersteel to help sit Daemon Blackfyre's great granddaughter, on the Iron Throne?

This decision works surprisingly well, not just for him, but for all of Westeros.

Afterall, why forsake sex, lands and titles, when you can marry a She-Bear, live on an island and become Captain-General of the most famous and honorable sellsword company in the world?

    Summary

This is a story about fate, fortune and identity.

When Lyanna presses two infants into Eddard Stark's arms, she places the fate of the world on his shoulders — though he cannot know it yet. He keeps the secret for seventeen years, until the capital claims one child for the slave markets of Essos and transforms the other into prey, hunted across the Seven Kingdoms by those who would use a Targaryen name as a weapon.

Tywin Lannister has spent years quietly forging something more dangerous than any sword in Westeros: a woman of singular purpose and ruthlessness, shaped bone-deep to serve his will alone. He is certain of her loyalty — until the day he discovers that the weapons a man creates are never truly his.

Rhaella Targaryen survived what should have killed her, and she seized that survival as a chance to begin again. She might have managed it, had someone not spent years whispering conquest and destiny into Viserys's ear — filling him with dreams of a throne he has never sat on and a kingdom he has never known.

Fate is relentless. Fortune plays no favourites. And identity is the most dangerous lie of all.
