And he definitely shouldn't be old enough to not only help in war efforts, but be the only individual able to go toe-to-toe with the actual evil genius who was hell-bent on world domination.

When he jolted awake from a nightmare, Yukine was glad to not have disturbed Yato. He was often the one to get comforted late in the night, Yato holding him in his arms as he pulled him out of his memories.
But as he watched the god's still, sleeping form, he knew something was wrong. Wasn't Yato always a sleep-talker? Why was he eerily quiet?
(or, yukine returns several favors after noticing yato's incredibly quiet, deep sleep and learns a little bit more about him in the process)
