He didn’t mean for any of this to happen. Lando doesn’t often mean for anything to happen; between the two of them, Logan’s the deliberate one. The one who thinks things through and pauses to check the depth of the water before diving in. Maybe that’s why Lando’s the one with the bloody nose from hitting a floor of unexpected feelings.

On April 6th, Oscar wakes up with three lines on his left hip, stark and simple, almost like an airplane. He doesn’t believe it at first, rubbing at the mark like it’s an ink blot he can smudge out. But even after scrubbing his skin red raw in the shower, the three lines are there. His first thought is that he needs to tell Logan. His next is that Logan can never know.
