“Do you want to be a hero?”
Izuku blinks. Where did that question come from? It was so out of the blue that Izuku just feels confused now. “I can't,” he finally manages to say.
“Why not?”
Is Eraserhead stupid? Well, Izuku won’t actually ask him, but he’s tempted. It’s perfectly obvious why he can’t be a hero. “I’m deaf,” he points out.
“So is Present Mic.”
“I’m quirkless.”
“And?”
“What do you mean and? And nothing. Quirkless heroes don’t exist. Especially not deaf quirkless heroes,” Izuku says. He’s not sure why Aizawa isn’t understanding this.
Aizawa just sighs, shaking his head. Izuku thinks there must be some big thing he’s just not seeing for the underground hero to be reacting like this. “So be the first, problem child,” Aizawa finally says.(AKA: Bakugou's bullying goes a bit too far when Izuku is ten, so they move. He meets Hatsume, gets trained by Aizawa and Present Mic, and sets off to become the first ever quirkless hero)

Summary
Midoriya Izuku just wants to lead a quiet, peaceful life. This is foiled by the fact that a) he can see spirits, b) his good nature demands that he help anyone he sees in trouble, and c) he, by all rights, should not exist.
Helping the heroes who have fallen victim to the new quirk-breaking drug is a terrible idea for many reasons, the first and most important being that he hates attention and avoids it like the plague. But he's the only one who can help, so he does.
This is, Izuku decides as he breaks in, more trouble than it's worth.

Jack of all trades, master none, but better than a master of one.
People always look to the shiny heroes, the ones wrapped in gold and flashy quirks. A vigilante that you might know, in a time you might not, discovered that he's more than happy to be pyrite. Fool's gold looks just the same as overpriced gold but is stronger, more durable. He loses his home, gains a family, and decides to show the world that heroes aren't all glitz and glamor. It's hard work, breaking bones, and mucking through.
He'll change the world and do it quirkless. The newest Undergound Hero Eraserhead decides to help a downtrodden kid do his best.
