Summary
On the 27/10/2020 I was in a car accident that very nearly took my life. I still have no memory of that day and many days after so I have written this as a way of expressing how I feel about the experience.
I found Billie Eilish's song The 30th at some point after my accident and really connected to it for a few reasons. There was a point when I was still in the hospital but after I had woken from my coma during which I was still in my period of post traumatic amnesia where I was able to drag the hospital phone close to my bed and dial my dads phone number from memory.
The bridge of the song also hits me hard because I was lucky in that I was the only car and person involved in my accident but it very easily could have gone a different way.- Language:

JJ’s head shot up and he looked at Pope, hoping his expression didn’t give away how alarmed he felt. “Everybody knows what?”
“That you guys totally wanna jump each other.” He held his hands up in defense at JJ’s raised eyebrows. “John B’s words, not mine.”
