    In a world where Poseidon and Sally had Percy during the end of World War II, Zeus's paranoia got the best of him to send Percy to Tartarus, where he believed he would die.

    He couldn't have been more wrong.

    Instead, Percy lived on in the harsh landscapes of the darkest lands of the underworld, facing artist scorpions, teacher cyclops, Lego master Telekhines and more. The only problem? He knows nothing about what is going on outside of Tartarus.

    So let's see what happens when he meets a certain daughter of Athena and a well-meaning satyr on a trip to retrieve a lightning bolt.

    Percy does not regret his choice all these centuries ago. It was either that, or being stuck as a semi-underling of that guy with an ego bigger than his bolt, and who really needs that? This way, he could do whatever without being bound by stupid laws, so, win-win.
    Sure, the occassional trip to Tartarus might be an inconvenience, but if its that or having to deal with Zeus? Eh, easy choice.

    Now if the gods, and most notably that retarded old horse, would just stop letting tiny snacks run wild on the streets, that would make his life a whole lot less stressful.

    The Great Prophecy never told of a child of the Big Three. Instead, it told of a child born from the gods' dreams, blessed of many. Seren Aelia is the titled Hero of Olympus, but her battle is not over yet.

    First, her memory was wiped. Then she became an honorary Roman and is part of the Argo II crew, heading towards Greece to stop Gaea from awakening.

    Now, she's falling into Tartarus. Alone.

    The pit is hell on steroids, with acid air and danger lurking in all directions. Fear is constant, and misery and pain follow with every step.

    Seren has plans to get to the Doors of Death and reunite with her friends, but it turns out that she's not alone down there, and sometimes... things aren't always black and white, and those who look foul are fairer than most.

     

    Basically, a what if Percy had been thrown into Tartarus when he was younger story. Except I throw in an original character into the mix as well.
