In an attempt to learn from her father's mistakes, Rhaenyra Targaryen betroths Aemma to her detested uncle, Aegon, seeking to navigate the political sphere of Westeros despite being woefully underprepared. Personally, all Aemma wishes to do is read with Aemond, play with Helaena, and watch the stars at night. Yet that is no cause for concern. Life will change her soon enough.

This summary is long due for a redo- so here it is! I'm not going to go on for ages this time, just say that I'm writing an extremely non-canon fic about saving the titan trio and helping them heal. It's a mix of fluff, angst, and platonic love, and I've been told by many commenters that it's an emotional ride. Updates are slow because of life issues, I'm a tired person, etc, etc, etc. I have no intention of giving up on the fic, though, so expect it to continue whenever I have the time. To quote from my old summary; "Canon was not nice to these kids, and I'm going to do them better."
Disclaimer: I'm not all that familiar with canon, and I don't particularly care to be. Thus, this fic is HIGHLY headcanon-based.

Annie had always wanted to be special: she wanted to be memorable, unique, extraordinary, and every other synonym for individual. What she hadn’t counted on was being the first known human to witness, fall into, and survive a wormhole. Just as her atoms were pulled apart and stitched back together, everything that Annie defines herself by is shattered in the blink of an eye.
As she adapts to medieval living and being vulnerable for the first time in her life, Annie’s goal remains the same: kill the Archdemon, get sent back home, get new Air Forces, and get her degree. Creating a family and falling in love for the first time were never part of the plan. Rebuilding herself after her world imploded had been low on the priority list, too.
The consequences of her appearance, however, extend far beyond the Blight and even Thedas itself.
How can she be an incredible individual when she has the sneaking suspicion that she is a mere puppet?
