Impulse leans back on the balls of his feet and takes a bit to respond, probably mulling over Pearl’s question. “No,” he finally says, and Pearl’s heart sinks in her chest. “No, I don’t think so."

For the past seven years, Pearl has been longing, grieving, and mourning for a person that doesn't exist. She doesn't know who, or why, or how, but someone incredibly important has disappeared from her life, and she cannot remember their name, or anything else about them. She struggles through life - dropping out of college, feeling lonely even when she's surrounded by friends, and wondering just who exactly is missing from her life. Over time, Pearl learns to stop asking people about the feeling, and elects to push it down and ignore it.
That is, until she meets a man in a wheelchair named Scar, who has the exact same experience as her.

Peak of modern au fics…i LOVE the mystery of it and the portrayal of the characters is some of the best i’ve seen among traffic smp fan works by FAR. also a fantastic exploration of grief and how it subtly damages both relationships and day-to-day functioning

BotW/AoC - As Zelda struggles to unlock her powers, an errant comment from Impa leads Terrako to attempt something drastic: bring forth another Zelda to ask for help. It fails... but has an unexpected consequence. Link, Zelda, and Impa now remember all of their lives, and how they've fought the same battle over and over. And they're over it. They're ending the cycle. Now.
Will include: Link taking no shit from Revali, Impa greatly relaxing her stance of propriety and tradition, and Zelda remembering how much fun her other lives could have.
Oh, and the characters of Breath of the Wild/Age of Calamity dealing with a Link, Zelda, and Impa who are officially done following the rules.

Summary

incredible thematically, focus on themes of identity, self worth, autonomy, indoctrination, facism, etc. characterization is excellent and stays both loyal to the original personalities of the characters but acknowledges effects of changes in their upbringing.

Summary
It was like electricity sometimes, her aura surrounding her body.
Blitzing around on clouds of rose petals as she felt herself separate and come together at random points. It was adrenaline. Speed and energy that kept her amped up. Kept her working, thinking, moving a mile a minute.
At the end of the day, she preferred Yang's.
