Wilhelm was relieved Simon would be gone soon, needing to sink into the darkness without having to worry about another person witnessing the ocean of shame currently trying to drown him. Not being able to breathe was exhausting, and infinitely more so when he had to hide that he was dealing with the way oxygen wasn't reaching his feet or hands or stomach or brain.

Summary
