Jungkook gazes up and into the man’s eyes. They’re red. Just like the fox’s.
His consciousness begins to slip, and Jungkook stumbles forward into the man’s awaiting arms, all strength gone from his body. He feels one arm wrap around his back, as the other slips under his legs before Jungkook is hoisted up into the air in a bridal carry. The man is still smiling at him, expression achingly fond, and his eyes glowing.
“M-monster…” Jungkook whimpers, before it all fades away.

Summary
