    “You didn’t.”

    Clark frowns. “That’s not the point.”

    “It is.” Bruce quirks an eyebrow, deliberately dismissive. “You’re not going to kill me with your dick. And, frankly, it’s a bit insulting you think I can’t handle a rough fuck.”

So lost in the question, he was rudely interrupted by the sudden attention the crowd gave to the door opening and revealing the woman he should hate. Lois Lane, the perfect reporter, was just a really good friend, he was told. But he doesn't, not when he understands why the election of having everything he could never offer was faced to Clark.

    With the music playing, and Clark's sight suddenly not in him anymore, for the first time in his life, he did what many never thought he would do. “Fuck this, I'm leaving.” He chose himself.

    Green Arrow pulled out one of his air pods from his right ear, reaching over to the ear of Batman's cowl and PULLING BATMAN'S COWL OFF HIS HEAD!

     

    Barry gasped, taking a sharp step back [which, in Barry-speak, means he zipped halfway towards the exit], while Clark could only stare endlessly.

     

    Batman—Bruce, stood stock still, posture suddenly and sharply rigid. His expression remaining neutral while his eyes, in stark contrast, sharpened with promise of ruin.

     

    Green Arrow wasn't even in the slightest fazed, putting his right ear's airpod in Bruce's ear before returning his attention to his phone—bobbing his head to the music. Even returning his right elbow to Bruce's headrest, encroaching on his personal space.

     

    Bruce's brows barely twitched, as if adjusting to the music in his ear. Before returning his gaze to his tablet, working as if nothing had happened.

     

    Clark and Barry were gaping.
