Sure, they’ll never see the outside world again. Sure, the government probably has ulterior motives. But honestly? Grian has bigger problems. Like being blindfolded in a house where someone is always on fire, someone is always screaming, and the only thing more unpredictable than their abilities is their collective lack of common sense.
This isn’t a story about escape. This is about survival—specifically, Grian’s desperate attempts to nap through the daily chaos without getting mauled, exploded, or recruited into someone’s terrible idea.
