Byakuya is well aware he is the ultimate perfection. He is much better than any of the poor excuses of “people” surrounding him. And so he believes he mustn’t waste his time, losing patience, and boringly explaining quite literally everything to their pea sized brains.
Now normally, he would have his butler, Pennyworth, do the talking. Somebody who knew his exact thought process, knew him, almost perfectly. But here in this wasteland of any associates or colleagues, there was no one who even remotely knew him, let alone have the intelligence to comprehend his divine perfection.
So, the moment he saw Chihiro’s body on the floor, he knew just what to do.
You could call it a fun test, to rat out any threats to his plan of eventually committing murder and maybe find a translator capable enough to help him talk to the subhuman apes in this “school”.

Summary
This is my retelling of the V3 Story from the perspective of my favorite character of all time, Kokichi! I have played through the game multiple times and through knowing the events ahead of time, I developed a great appreciation and admiration for this kid. Which made me realize how badly he has been treated and misunderstood throughout the story.
Well, here is my justification for all of his lies and trickery, and how he created the plan that would lead to his inevitable death (or rather his ultimate sacrifice!)Disclaimer: There may be a couple rewrites of minor events due to some plot holes or inconsistencies.
Also I have come up with some in-betweens about when Kokichi was off-screen somewhere that could lead up to when he shows up again, consider those my personal speculations or theories. Kokichi is simply a very inspiring character, I couldn't help it. -
