Summary
After defeating the Void Worm, Rover is tasked by the academy to investigate the death of a former student and link how they tie into a past tragedy that took place at Startorch. Rover is paired with Dr. Herssen. A warm, perceptive doctor whose kindness and lingering gaze feels far too intentional.
During the investigation, the inconsistences, falsehoods, clues about Rover's past, and anomalies buried by the far too immaculate medical records stirs unrest in Rover. Curated truths and misdirection have been maintained by someone keeping a secret for a long time. Rover confides in Dr. Herssen's strong moral compass, but soon finds his warmth may be hiding something far more lethal beneath the surface.

Summary
The thing about plastic chairs is that they weren't a great substitute for an actual bed; the other thing is, Robert can't exactly afford to be picky and even if he 𝘤𝘰𝘶𝘭𝘥 the internal debate is still ongoing as to whether or not he deserves a mattress at this current point in his life.
So, the plastic chair stays and is staying for the foreseeable future. Besides, it's charming - in a depressing, minimalism-that-is-totally-not-a-reflection-of-his-inner-sense-of-worth way.
Or:The fic where Robert has chronic pain and Flambae has warm hands. The two of them will figure out what to do about that eventually, right?

Summary
"Robbie" Robertson the Second used to lay awake at night, asking every star in the sky for his son be born with some ability, something supernatural that can make the inevitable pain and sacrifice of heroism something easier to live with. Something that can protect his family better than the suit that protected him. It was only natural to ask for an easier path for your kids, even if you know they will be condemned to the life you're able to provide them.
When he got his wish, and Robert discovered he was supernatural, he took it all back.

Robert has superpowers au! I think I've thought of something pretty interesting to share. The catch? This is a mystery. You get to figure out what I've given this poor, tortured man as I send hints your way within each chapter.

B.Y.H.B, ‘Be Your Heroic Best’ had been explained to Robert, by Blazer of course, as a convention led by retired heroes, and heroes in their prime, with the sole purpose of teaching what they’ve learned in the field to better educate the upcoming, heroic youth. It was a two day event, Saturday and Sunday, and the SDN was willing to pay, round trip, for someone from the Phoenix Program to attend — with a chaperone of course.
When Robert had volunteered to do so with a member of the Z-Team, he hadn’t really thought the entire process through. Or, at least, he hadn’t thought far enough ahead to consider the reality he was currently experiencing: a reality in which he shared a weekend with a raging fireball who vividly hated his guts.Or:
Robert and Flambae go on a trip out of town and sexy things ensue.
