“Now, that would have been an interesting tidbit to list in your qualifications.” He grins, brandishing her resumé; when the joke falls utterly flat, his grin falters into something more pathetic. “The charismatics do tend to get carried away, don’t they.”
In the year 2000, Harrow gets a job at John Gaius's church, meets his handsome and pious daughter, and things go to Hell in a handbasket.

It’s a wet, hot, Canadian summer, and our heroes are about to face their biggest challenge yet – wrangling a summer camp full of children. Harrow and Gideon eagerly approach life post-high school, Camilla and Palamedes savour their last summer working together at Camp New Rho, and Corona, oh, well she’s doing really great. She’s already got a good base tan going, and her new butterfly tattoo has healed nicely, eh?
Except Harrow isn’t actually sure she’ll be able to afford university, and Gideon has no idea what she’s going to do next year. Camilla and Palamedes have their futures locked into place, and their first year of grad school well under their belt, but have begun to wonder where that leaves them as… friends? Roommates? Oh, and Judith keeps saying no to rubbing sunscreen on Corona’s back and it’s causing a lot of tension, so she should probably just do it, right??
