Summary
A random villain-of-the-week makes Robert late for work. It's only by a few minutes, yet the encounter that hardly lasted a few seconds instills a sudden chill in Robert's bones. Its persistence is matched only by the Z-Team's stubbornness as they force their dispatcher to join them in activities they think will warm him up.
But none of it matters if Robert can't learn to believe he'll ever be warm again... or that he deserves the warmth this team brings him.

Summary
Robert’s dancing (begrudgingly) with an old superhero friend of his to avoid making a scene had he turned him down. The stares from around the ballroom, the camera flashes from nearby reporters, said superhero’s hands a bit too close to his waist all irritate him to no end.
Meanwhile, Flambae’s watching from the edge of the room, flames curling around his knuckles.
Prism whispers, “You plannin' to torch the next guy who asks him to dance?”
“Depends on who he dances with next,” he growls.
Robert catches his eye across the floor—and with a pleading look—mouths, 'Behave.'He doesn’t.

Phoenix tries his best to pretend everything is normal after his relationship with Kristoph, and fails.
“You finally took off that beanie, I like when you get all dressed up and groomed, it makes you especially handsome.” He ran a thumb over Phoenix’s chin, freshly shaved. It was true that Phoenix looked in a way he hadn’t in a while, hair gelled in the way he liked it, face fresh and smooth. He looked like his old self, but he wasn’t. He was damaged goods now.

“Wr-Wright?”
Blood dripping down his chin, he coughed again, almost like he were retching, bloodied pink petals bursting from his mouth and falling into the sink and on the floor. He looked pale, hair wild and unkempt. At the sound of Miles’ voice, Phoenix turned to him, eyes unfocused, looking as though he was barely holding on to the cliff of consciousness. Christ, he looked awful, Miles wasn’t even sure how he was still standing. But he recognized Miles, a look of deep guilt settling into his brown eyes, as though he had been caught doing something he wasn’t supposed to. Though, on god’s green earth, Miles wasn’t exactly sure why.
“Edgeworth…you…” Phoenix coughed, more of those petals fell from his mouth. “You weren’t supposed…to see this…”
Miles was only barely able to catch Phoenix as he collapsed.
