Summary
It started with her absentmindedly putting tiny braids in Zoey’s hair while she was rambling about cleaner fish with her head in Rumi’s lap, continued with her automatically braiding one of Mira’s pigtails while she sat next to her reading a book.
Before long, the girls were coming to her with the express purpose of asking her to braid their hair. Rumi taught herself how to do their preferred hairstyles, but sometimes they also let her experiment and try out complicated new braids.
She really thrived on this, loved the way their faces would light up when they saw what she had done with their hair, the kisses Zoey would press to her cheek as thanks, the appreciative smile Mira would give her. She understood perfectly why Celine had always loved doing this for Mi-yeong and Rumi.
