He pushes off the desk, takes a couple steps to stand in front of Leon, then drops to his knees. They’re at eye level now, Leon still a bit hunched over. “I thought you couldn’t?” He asks, voice hoarse.

"Chris?" Claire's voice was tense, which made his smile drop worriedly. Something had her seriously shaken up, and now Chris was sitting up, muting the TV and frowning. "It's Leon, Chris-"
"Claire, Leon is a big boy. Whatever's happened, I'm sure he's going to be fine. I can't drop everything when he scrapes his knee and-"
"Chris!" Claire's voice broke, and Chris was silenced immediately. His sister didn't cry easily, something had to be seriously wrong. Sudden panic gripped his chest, what if Leon was dead? "Chris, it's--he's in the hospital. H-He tried to kill himself."Aka, Leon is suicidal and Chris goes to see him in the hospital. Angst ensues.

“You okay?” Leon asked, warily eyeing the way Chris was slumped forward, clutching his side. He hadn’t exactly seen what had happened, all he knew that one of the infected had lunged at Chris with a sickle, and then Leon had been more than occupied by taking down the rest of the zombies swarming at them. He’d trusted that Chris could take care of himself, but apparently the infected had gotten in a lucky hit.
“I’m fine,“ Chris bit out. It was obvious in his voice that he was so not fine, the words curt and choked off. Not only that but he’d gone unnaturally pale, too, even though he was trying to hold on to his poker face. Undoubtedly he was hoping Leon wouldn’t push. “Let’s get going.“
Frowning, Leon reached out and stopped Chris in his tracks as he tried to shoulder past him. “Take it easy for a moment, okay?”
