The elevator creaked a little as it descended, and he braced a palm against the wall, a weird twinge in his gut. He hadn’t seen Tim all day. No big deal, normally. Except when Tim disappeared, it usually meant one of two things: planning something or burning something down, metaphorically or otherwise.
