When Izuku Midoriya gives up on living and attempts to end his life, Kurogiri takes the opportunity to fulfill a mission given to him by Dr. Garaki: Find a suitable test subject who won't be missed by society so he can properly experiment on someone for Tomura Shigaraki's experiments.
Izuku Midoriya is turned into a Nomu and is sent to work with the League. He never imagined he'd get to work with real heroes, and everyone there is supportive of his dreams. He can't thank Garaki enough for the opportunity to work with Tomura Shigaraki to protect Japan from the world's greatest villain: All Might.

Summary
After Gran Torino finally ends the call with the promise of making his way to Izuku’s location, he stops to rub his face in his hands as the reality fully sets in. Toshinori is gone. Not only that, but the kid on the other end is his successor. Torino shakes his head, adjusts his scarf, and makes his way to the front door.
“Oh, Toshinori… What have you done now?”

At the young age of fourteen Izuku met All Might and, for once, being a hero didn't sound like a mocking dream.
Just before the age of fifteen, All for One took All Might's life.
This is the story of how Izuku Midoriya navigates his life as a hero student with Gran Torino as a mentor to guide him from ending up in the same place his idol landed.***

“Kacchan,” he called. “I’m here. What’s wrong?” He could feel his heart begin to race once he inhaled the smoke, but he pushed that to the back of his mind so he could focus on Bakugou.
“It—It’s their fuckin’ quirk. Hit me with the smoke, and I—I can’t—“
“Easy,” Deku tried to soothe him. “Can I touch you?”
“Huh?” Bakugou lifted his head just enough to look at him. “F—fine. Fuck, I don’t care.”
Deku gently placed his hands on his arms, rubbing them with his shaking hands.
“I think their quirk induces anxiety,” Deku said. He only guessed that because after he breathed in the smoke, he felt like he was on the brink of falling apart. However, Deku had been hiding panic attacks for years, so it was like an average day for him.
“I noticed,” Bakugou grumbled, trying to keep up the tough act.

Or, Bakugou and Deku encounter a quirk that seems to trigger anxiety—or so they thought. What happens when Deku realizes there may be more to the quirk than they initially thought?
