Steve and Danny shifting into relationship mode is far too easy. Like breathing. They're not too worried about letting the team know, just trying to find a tactful way to do it.
Though when Rachel drops off Grace at the office, clearly irritated that Danny stood her up, Steve can't help but call Danny babe in front of her and heavily implied why Danny hadn't made it to her.
