Summary
“Hotch, wait, I really can’t afford this, can’t we just buy a tie or something?” He whispers, almost frantically. Hotch doesn’t respond, lips pressed into a tight lipped frown. He needed this. This wasn’t optional. He takes out his own credit card, handing it to the woman at the register. He didn’t care how much it cost. Someone as gorgeous as Spencer deserved to be treated like a doll.
The total flashes on the register and Spencer chokes out a strangled whimper. Hotch doesn’t even flinch.
“Hotch– I can’t pay you back,” he croaks, voice weak.
“I’m not asking you to.” Hotch states firmly, annoyance creeping in. “I’m your boss. Your job is to follow my lead. Do you understand, Reid?”
