“yeah,” jeongguk smiles, voice dripping with warmth, fondness saturating the syllable. jeongguk’s eyes are locked meaningfully with his and taehyung has this creeping realization that the next words out of his mouth aren’t about inhyeon, “i can tell.”
there’s a scar on jeongguk’s cheek.
sometimes, when taehyung reaches for something behind jeongguk while they’re maneuvering around each other in his kitchen, the younger will flinch reflexively. his eyes will dilate rapidly before he blinks and rights himself almost before taehyung can tell something has happened.
