Summary
The opportunity to shape the perfect world, free from crime and corruption, fell into his hands and he’ll be damned before he lets that power slip through his fingers.
It’s perfectly reasonable—understandable really, given the number of names he writes each day—that he can’t keep track of all of them.

Summary
The Luidaeg is the terror fae parents tell their children of, who will give you exactly what you wish for while cursing you blind in the process. She’s the monster in the night, a neutral abritriter who’s been the downfall of heroes and villains alike. The mere mention of her name sends a shiver down the spine of full-grown purebloods, who change the topic faster than propriety demands as if speaking of her in tones louder than whispers could summon her wrath.
She is the inevitable turning of the tide, the grinding of rock, stone, and bone into sand, and you should never, ever, forget that.
Quentin doesn’t forget, per say, but the incomprehensible nature of the Luidaeg’s power seems rather unimportant when she’s got flour on her overalls and in her hair, chocolate smeared on her face, and is currently swearing at a cookbook.
(or, Quentin and the Luidaeg bake cookies, watch tv, and discuss the nature of family and responsibility.)

Summary
“It is the instruction of the Prophet of the Lord Undying, whose name was given up in his service, that in this manner, we observe this solemn ritual.” Harrow intones.
Gideon slides the device into its slot, holding on to both the base and the box once it clicks into place.
Harrow casts three knuckle bones behind her, rattling into full-size skeletons as they land.
“Griddle,” She says, and Gideon clicks the center button.
(or, a few remains of pre-resurrection music survive, dating to the beginning of the reign of the Lord Undying. it lives on in the ninth house.)

Summary
Anakin has a really strange dream. What was this about him being a depressed cyborg? And why was Obi-Wan a hermit on Tatooine, doesn't he know that's how one gets roped into legends?
(in other words, the original trilogy is the extremely convoluted product of anakin's subconscious)

Summary
Jason’s dead. That’s not really the problem. The problem is...
“Welcome to Hotel Valhalla, home of the honored dead, half of them at least, the other half go to Folkvanger. If you’re here, you died doing something heroic that saved lives. You won’t age and you won’t permanently die until Ragnarok, unless you manage to get yourself killed on a quest out in the nine realms, after which you won’t resurrect unless you somehow manage to return to the hotel before dying. More will be explained at dinner.”
Jason is reeling but at least he now has an explanation of some of the craziness of his current situation. “Yeah, I’m pretty sure I’m not supposed to be here.”
...He’s in the wrong afterlife.

“We could steal the moon? Like Gru did?”
“What? No!”
“Yeah, Margo’s right, we can’t steal the moon. Like you said, Gru’s already done that!”
“For various reasons, one of which being that it’d drastically mess up life on Earth, and that that’d shrink ray thing isn’t permanent.”
“I bet I could build a better one!”
“Please don’t, at least not yet.”
“At least not yet, she says,”
Agnes frowns. “Well, if we’re going to steal something, it has to be cool.”
