Summary
Three weeks later and the Aurors were still no closer to finding out who was terrorizing shop owners in Knockturn by using Dark Magic to elicit fines from the Ministry.
Public opinion was still of the mindset that they were faking, and staying just one step above the Aurors. The newest Prophet article had Pansy in a fit of rage today.
"'Pansy Parkinson, perhaps best known for her eagerness to hand Harry Potter over to the now-vanquished Dark Lord …' I mean, who writes this? I was 17 years old and my school was under siege and I didn't want to die, but sure, fault me for that. Then here, in a much-later paragraph, 'Parkinson was once the besotted of heir Draco Malfoy but after the war, he sought to distance himself from his Death Eater roots and cut ties with the dealing Parkinson.' As if it wasn't the other way around and he wasn't a moping, brooding, good-for-nothing sack of potatoes in our sixth year. That was my future and no thank you. And let me tell you, if he'd let me in on his little secret, I'd have had Death Eaters in the castle in weeks."

Summary
The story you have been told is a lie. Perhaps I made it up to justify my own lack of involvement. Perhaps I just wanted the children to always win, no matter the situation. But none of that has been true. No, the story of the Baudelaire children comes to an unfortunate end far sooner than my detailings had led you to believe. Allow me to correct the record now. The events contained below may contain imagery and language that is deeply upsetting. You know the story up to the night of the play. Let us pick up there, and continue as events transpired. I warn you, none of this is happy, and the ending is quite treacherous. Certainly nobody would condemn you for looking away and choosing to believe the orphans outsmarted their captor.

It was the end of the world.
It was supposed to be the end of the world.
The world faded into nothingness, faded into what looked like an elegant dinner setting.

Freija's essence, always drawn to swords because of what is yet to come, and Pharaoh's daughter's essence, drawn to women who dare defy convention, push the line-string around the legs of Éowyn.

“And it’s not like you were trying all that hard to feel me up, either. Besides,” she leaned in close. “Wasn’t it kind of hot, trying to outdo each other?”

Summary
The White Witch tells her version of what happened.
His own rules were His undoing. He loves making rules: thou shalt this, thou shalt not that. It was one of the first things He did when He came to this world, back in the beginning.
When there was nothing here but darkness, He sang the world into being. So they say. I tell you this: worlds come and go all the time. They die and are reborn every minute, without His help or anyone else’s. A gardener can prune a tree, but that doesn’t make him its creator. My Enemy is a horticulturalist of universes—He guides them, shapes them, but He does not birth them.
I was here, at the beginning. I saw it.
