Summary
Warning: Contains Spoilers for Entirety of Delicious in Dungeon
In which Marcille, arrested for using Dark Magic, never makes it to the Dungeon. And in which Falin, still eaten by a dragon, is rescued with more trouble and returns from the journey a little more monstrous than she might have been, had Marcille been there to help her. When Marcille is rescued from her imprisonment, Falin wants to help her. But her dearest friend is skittish and hurt, and a creature such as Falin will surely frighten her. But she’s determined to pamper Marcille all the same. It’s just a matter of hiding how monstrous she has become.

Summary
Affection is a mad swarm of butterflies bubbling up from her stomach through the cage of her ribs. It pushes up and spills outwards, splitting her lips into a smile. What will she do with all this love? On a whim, she parts the messy fringe at Falin’s forehead, then leans down to plant a kiss upon the sliver of exposed skin.
Falin’s hand is soft and warm in hers. Marcille jolts backwards at the realization that she is awake. Her head almost bangs against the coarse tree bark behind her. Her cheeks are aglow when she meets Falin’s warm, amber eyes.
“Wake me up before you kiss me next time,” Falin says, eyes crinkling as she smiles crookedly up at Marcille. “I’ve missed too much already.”

Summary
The statement Lisa held was a fraudulent one.
Jean could have explained at length that her hand had been forced, that too many remnants of old nobility sat upon the legislative council, that the nation was reaching a dangerous level of stagnation spurred by their obstinance, that the only way to get any sort of public work project approved was to quietly sweep the money into her own pockets and fund it independently.
She did not. Instead, she made conversation: "If I may ask, what did you study at the Akademiya?"
“Magic,” Lisa answered, still squinting at the report. “And accounting.”
So maybe Jean had something to worry about.

Summary
The truth is that Nefer once thought blindness was a complete darkness, though she now knows that it varies. She had opened her eyes once — perhaps directly to spite Lauma’s mandates — and saw only flickers of light, concentrated where Lauma stood. And this split her chest with a horrible ache; the absence of what they once had, and the absence of moon’s beauty shining back at her.
