    Summary

“Just go already,” Diotima says, shooing him in and swinging the door shut. When he rolls down the window, she rolls her eyes. “Don’t worry about me, I’ll be fine. After you graduate, you can come back with that knowledge from the devil and tell me all about it.”

He laughs at that. If it comes out a little flat, neither of them mentions it.

He has one suitcase, one backpack, and the clothes on his back. There's still room for one more in the back seat.

“I’ll write,” Anaxa promises, leaning toward the open window as the driver shifts the car into gear. He doesn’t know how, but he’ll find a way.

    Diotima only smiles and waves.

    Or:

    Escape was never a possibility.

    Summary

It cannot be said that Qifrey the witch lives a particularly boring or even safe life, especially with all of the recent stress and chaos of the silvereve festival with the wyrm, and the knights moralis, and the brimhats. But by the accursed brims themselves, by the pointed caps and the wise, by the silverwood, the source of both his magic and anguish, this day is rapidly steering towards a very hellish week, one that Qifrey really doesn’t need right now.

Qifrey is in heat, he is not supposed to be in heat, but he is, and all he wants is for Olruggio to come and hold him, scent him, make it better. But Olruggio cannot hold him, and Qifrey know this.

    Summary

“In Amphoreus’ darkest moments, a Deliverer bearing golden blood will descend as its savior. Only he can pull the mythical blade, Dawnmaker, from stone and wield the sword crafted with the rays from the sun to expel the blight from the world.”

A prophecy foretold by Lady Tribios, a mage blessed with the gift of foresight. Phainon was raised hearing stories based on the Deliverer. As a child, he often dreamed of becoming a strong, brave knight like the Deliverer of legend. He never envisioned he would become a prisoner of fate, much less become enthralled by the mysterious fairy, the Lady of the Lake. With the Lady's guidance and eternal promise, Phainon embarks on a quest to save Amphoreus and embrace his fate as the Deliverer.

    Summary

After passing out in his office one too many times, Anaxagoras is forced into a sabbatical by his mentor, Cerces (for his own good). He only lasts for a week until he's itching to get back to work, only to find out that Cerces has gone on a sabbatical of her own. However, a letter soon arrives from Cerces with the promise of a favor.

There’s a farm she forgot she had that she wishes for him to take check in on. There, meets the local "Deliverer". At first, he's apprehensive about the help. But soon enough, Phainon becomes a staple on his farm and it's not long before seeds are planted and a love begins to bloom on the farm.

    ---

And yet, it is Phainon who comes to mind. The way his eyes would grow big and shine brightly at hearing the news, the way his grin would grow as he lifted Anaxagoras off the ground to spin him around, mindful of the crops growing beneath his feet.

    Summary

The Lord of the Dead, Anaxagoras, is fine being in the Underworld. He has coworkers of a kind, such as Death Incarnate, and occasional visitor, the Herald of the Gods. His life is mundane; he processes the dead and the damned, their causes of death, their sentence. On slower days, he dabbles with alchemy and tends to his garden. What else could he possibly want?

Only for a young Okheman God, the keeper of Seasons, to come stumbling into his House, named Phainon. He's too pitiful to refuse, to Anaxa's dismay, despite knowing that dealing with Okhemans will only bring him trouble, he accepts his presence as his student for half a year.

And Phainon falls deeply in love during that time, despite knowing he cannot stay, and has vowed to leave him after time is up...
