But his grades were good, his mom made sure of that, so when he woke up in the hospital he already knew what he was going to do next. But after?

Summary
When Yeonjun’s reflection starts moving on its own he tries to ignore it, tries to brush it off as hallucinations caused by exhaustion and stress. He really hasn’t been taking care of himself. But when he suddenly gets pulled through the mirror and wakes in a darker and scarier world he doesn’t recognize, he is unable to figure out if he has had an actual psychotic break or if he has been magically transported into an alternate universe.
Which explanation is more believable?
Yeonjun knows which one is more realistic and struggles to deal with his 'new' life, but he can’t seem to let go of the hope that this just isn’t his world.- or –

It stirred a shiver deep in his bones, and dragged the aborted memories of tender nights spent under the smoggy city lights to the surface of his mind. It dredged up thoughts of kissing soft pink lips, and whispering endearments into pale gold hair.
But his voice brought memories that tore wounds in the Assets mind- that brought pain, and confusion, and fear- like broken glass being ground into his skin.
It was too much. It was too much-
