Astarion straightened, a half grin on his lips now.

“Yes, I would assume you don’t usually make a habit of leaping into the muck at the slightest provocation, though your outfit says otherwise.”

He reached a hand toward her, palm up, offering to assist her out of the creek. Jen stared at it for a moment, half of her wanting to step forward and touch it, to verify its existence. The other half knew damn well that such an action would be a deadly folly.

“I think I’ll stay in the creek, thanks.”

She saw him stiffen, his gaze sharpening before he sneered his question at her.

“I’m sorry, do I know you?”

“Nope,” she responded, probably too nonchalantly. “But I know who you are. What I don’t know is how the hell you’re here.”

Set about a century after the events of Baldur’s Gate 3 and the fall of the Elder Brain, follow Astarion as he figures out how the hells to navigate this new plane he’s stumbled into with the help of his weird little guide. With any luck, between the two of them, they’ll be able to complete the quest he originally set out on.

    Summary

    “Hello, little mouse.”

She turned her head slowly at the sound of a voice spilling into the silence. Low, rumbling, velvety. Familiar. A ghostly silhouette froze still at the threshold, the stifling dimness of the room wrapping its paws around its statuesque shoulders, enveloping it, luring it in. Squinting, she tried to focus her watery eyes on the visitor. The man stepped in and leaned against the doorway, his arms folded across his chest. From the blurred veil, familiar features gradually emerged. Her breath caught as a wave of recognition erupted within her chest, rolling down her shoulders with a cold shiver.

    It couldn’t be.

“Haarlep?” she breathed out the long-lost name that came to life with a gentle rustle on her parched lips.

“Do you come when you touch yourself?” he asked.
“What?” Her world had either stopped spinning or rapidly accelerated; she wasn’t sure.
“When you lie awake at night,” he purred, caressing clawed fingertips over the inside of her knee, “fucking yourself on your lovely fingers, do you climax then?”
She nodded. Why lie? A hot pulse of need bloomed in her cunt. This afternoon had already taken several turns, and at this point, she was just along for the ride.

A series of bad hookups has Tav feeling less like a hero and more like a born reject. She sneaks into Sorcerous Sundries to look for a cure. She finds it—in the tower's new proprietor.

    Summary

You fail to be discreet in your assessment of him. He catches you staring, and raises a thick eyebrow.

"Forgive me," you say, "I am only wondering how a man of your prowess found himself trapped here."

"As I said," Halsin answers, "I'm not quite myself."

You find Halsin locked in a worg pen. Even worse—it looks like he's in rut.
