Summary
Vesemir starts an alliance with a backwater village nearest the Blue Mountains in hopes of trading resources, and the alderman offers up a young man in marriage to seal the deal. The Witchers arrive expecting a wedding. Instead, they find Julian, drugged and tied up in the town square. After rescuing him, they must decide if they will continue with the alliance, or denounce the villagers as the monsters they believe Witchers to be.

Summary
After the moutain Jaskier finds himself stumbling through the start of a planned year long bender in which he doesn't care weather or not he makes it out the otherside. A kind elf running a tavern in oxenfurt helps him get back on his feet, shaky as they are and from there Jaskier becomes the Sandpiper.
What he doesn't know is that this line of work will lead him directly into the hands of the man he was just starting to get over. Geralt of course makes everything worse, leaving Jaskier alone to pick up the peices until a very handsome witcher (Eskel) finds him and decides that Jaskier is the most important thing in the world, that it would be a privalige to help him get back up again.
or Jaskier tries to recover from the moutain but the world seems determined to show him that he should only ever feel heartbreak until Eskel turns out to be the only constant in his life.

Summary
Following the Cats' betrayal at the Witcher Tournament, the witcher schools, realizing that King Radowit II's plot was just the tip of the spear, unite to create a Witcher Nation. All the schools except the Cats, that is. The Cats, having participated in the massacre of another school, are exiled and banned from this new nation.
The witchers isolate themselves in the northern kingdom of Kaedwen, leaving the Cat witchers and humanity to each other for almost a century. Then a bard steals the King of Renedia's pet and smuggles it into Kaedwen.
