It’s a normal day. Normal by Dan and Phil’s standards, anyway. There are emails to respond to and calls to make; they need to feed themselves, which is always a chore. But that’s really it; nothing particularly exciting or, frankly, worthy of writing about. But the author thinks, perhaps a bit misguidedly, but they think that while grand adventures and convoluted plot twists are all well and good (the author, who the reader must remember has written such stories before and likely will again), the normal, boring days are also worth writing about.
