Jeonghan wasn’t a god, per se, but he was pretty fucking close.
At least that’s what Cosmopolitan Korea had described him as in their latest feature spread: Stupid Cupid - make Seoul a Match . They had featured Jeonghan on their AUGUST Cover, labeling him as Seoul’s number one matchmaker for the elite. A god of love. A mastermind of sorts. He knew love and relationships better than most romance psychologists combined. It was a gift and a curse. But he didn’t mind.

The thing is that Seungcheol has been coming here for the same two weeks for six years, and for the other eleven and a half months out of the year, he simply misses Jeonghan.
(The Guesthouse is an inn tucked away near the mountains just outside of Seoul. It has no website, no SNS, and very few reviews. Seungcheol spends his Decembers there.)

A big patch of cloud drifts over the sun, leaving a chill in the air and a respite from the glare on the window. Inside, Wonwoo can see the shadowy outline of Joshua’s side profile, staring blankly at the table. “I had planned to go to national parks on my way home, and I told him I’m not changing that plan if he’s hitchhiking.”
“It’s not really hitchhiking if your brother’s hot ex-fiance is riding in your passenger’s seat.”

“I do," something in the way Jeonghan said it made him pause.
“Jeonghan,” Seungcheol's voice tipped up like a question, confused.
Jeonghan looked up then, met his eyes over two rows of work stations. There was sweat dripping down the side of his face.
“I can’t, I quit.”
