Her hand around Ivan was warm as she spoke. “I suppose what I’m trying to say is, Till’s alive. You’re alive. Please, just, speak to each other.”
Ivan was not, at his core, an honest person. The most honest he had ever been was when his lips and hands had been on Till’s. There was the dull ache of feeling buried inside him, and there were the reflexes they made him act out, but in between these two things where there should have been words there was nothing. What did it mean to speak about something he barely understood himself.
Ivan and Till are saved during Round 6. Ivan has to deal with what's next.
