Summary
There was an unexplainable power behind RAD WEEKEND, something that might not be possible to replicate. When does one decide that it’s time, that the event is surpassable now? How long will it take to get to that point? Where Vivid BAD SQUAD’s vocals are good enough and every member feels they’re ready? Will it take five months? Five years? Would they last five years? When will it be time for Akito to say, with no doubt in his heart, that he loves this city—warts and all? What comes next? Is Vivid BAD SQUAD limited to this small town forever? Will their legacy, alongside RAD WEEKEND’s, eventually pass on? Would Akito accept that? Could Akito, not the whole group, could Akito Shinonome surpass RAD WEEKEND with all his might?
Akito is no longer “Akito” without music, without this event, without his group. Sometimes, that realization is terrifying, but he wouldn’t live life any other way. Akito swears he’ll never let the fire he lit years ago burn out.
Or: To Akito Shinonome, Ena is the strongest person the world has ever seen. He wants to be just as strong, no matter the cost.

Throughout his short-lived career as a musician, Akito Shinonome has always believed that even in the wake of raw talent, an effort through dedication and ambition can rival that of natural-born geniuses. He was relentless- relentless in the way he so wholeheartedly believed and put his trust in that.
Akito bet his life on that. Nothing was for naught, as long as it took him closer to his dream.
Yet, he couldn't shake off that moonlight and the way it looked at him.
So round, pearly, and overreaching.

People keep coming up to Kaveh to congratulate him. Kaveh doesn’t really know why, and he’s a little too scared to ask at this point, so he heads back home, content if not a little bemused.
He is, unfortunately, reminded of it the very next day, when the door slams open and Al-Haitham stalks in. “Mind telling me why everyone was congratulating me today?” he demands. “About your pregnancy?"
Or: Al-Haitham is, without a doubt, the most annoying person Kaveh knows. Maybe the world’s second-most annoying person can help Kaveh figure him out.

“this is weird.”
it’s all tango can think as he surveys himself in the mirror, dressed in rivendell formalwear. fur-trimmed shawls, flowing robes, neat shirts and trousers. it’s all very weird. not bad weird! it’s just- well, tango doesn’t think he’s worn anything fancy since he was, like, four. even then, it wasn’t close to the standard of intricacy rivendell seems to somehow consider casual.
he likes it though. it protects against the harsh weather like magic (which it may very well be), and it’s nothing if not comfortable. tango feels like royalty in it—like he can ask for anything and it’ll be delivered on a silver platter.
also- okay, he’ll admit it: he likes how he matches with scott. whilst the pattern is different—fire motifs instead of ice, yellows and oranges woven into the cyan fabric—its so obvious where it came from. tango likes the idea of everyone knowing he belongs to rivendell- to scott.
tango is scott’s royal advisor in rivendell, and he is being introduced to the rest of the emperors in a meeting. shenanigans ensue
