Post finale fic that doesn't ignore the grief of the survivors, but doesn't wallow in it. The good work goes on and Leon finds his place in a post-Samaritan Team Machine. This fic left me feeling good without undoing the terrific, yet heartbreaking finale season of POI.

So I know the show really couldn't go here, but it still fascinating to consider. Also, this reads like a perfect prequel to 'Just Like Your Mother', the Deucalion/Derek dubious consent vignette. Definitely edging into the Dead Dove Do Not East territory.
